Okay, this is for 's race, in honour of Devil Wears Prada, one of her characters. I am working on the in race picture as I type this, but I couldn't resist a little before hand picture!
Here we can see It Girl, a palomino thoroughbred filly with her Jockey, a young Czech boy who came from a very deprived family.
I did a quick sketchy drawing of It Girl's Dam, Icon.
She was extremely aggressive the few times she raced, injuring some other fillies. Threekingham Stud is very nervous to find out whether It Girl will also be as aggressive, and hope she concentrates on running more!
Her Sire's (called Goldmark) racing career was cut very short as in his first race, because another horse fell over in front of him.

It Girl has been training very well, with her jockey, who has also never raced before.
He is called Tom Hraediskitse, and he is only 19. He is the only rider who It Girl will run properly for. With other jockeys she refuses to gallop, and stays in trot and canter.

She is number 20 in the race.
Here you see them just about to saddle up in the paddock.
Tom is very nervous, but trusts It Girl.
It Girl is calm, but very curious about all the fuss!
Tom thinks she knows that the first race of her life is also very important!
